Overview
BMI (Body Mass Index) is an indicator that measures the relationship between weight and height, and is used to assess whether a person's weight is within a healthy range.
According to the World Health Organization (WHO) standards, BMI is classified as follows:
Below 18.5: Underweight
18.5 to 24.9: Normal weight
25 to 29.9: Overweight
30 and above: Obese
For example, if a person weighs 70 kg and is 1.75 meters tall, their BMI is calculated as follows:

It's important to note that BMI is not a perfect indicator of healthy weight, as it doesn't take into account factors such as body fat percentage, muscle mass, and bone density. For certain populations (such as athletes and the elderly), BMI may not be suitable. When assessing health status, it's best to combine it with other health indicators and consult a doctor.
